Remuneration, Payments and Earnings Policy

All medical consultants and partners are paid weekly. Weekly earnings are deposited automatically via direct deposit, and partners receive a statement showing their earnings for each virtual consultation time that week. Please note that; there is no fee attached to start consulting with Medtech Africa!

Standard Fee

The standard fee for virtual consultation is set at a payGo rate of #2 (NGN) per second. Virtual sessions is billed per second on every call. The longer the time spent on virtual sessions and usage sessions by a consultant, the more earnings is made.

Service Fee

Medtech Africa charges partners and consultants a 20% fee on all virtual consultation. This fee covers: The use of Medtech Africa's software Collection and transfer of Virtual Patients Credit card commission Distribution of invoices to clients (Patients) Payment statement The payment statement includes information such as: Charges for card appointment completed Miscellaneous payments Booked Appointment adjustments

When you consult with Medtech Africa, your earnings are transferred automatically, so you don't have to worry about paperwork. Find out how to add a bank account and how to cash out.

Get started

1. Upload banking details Payments are transferred directly into the partner's bank account. As soon as your profile is active, please make sure to upload our banking details in order for us to process the payment.
2. Monday is payment day Payments are made Mondays. Weekly payment cycles run from Monday 9 AM - Monday 3:59 PM.
3. Receiving payment Payments usually reflect by Friday evenings. Some weeks there might be delays due to public holiday.

How to set up a bank transfer

  • 1. Use the app or sign in online To add your bank account in the Doctor's consultation app, go Wallet Payments in the app menu. Alternatively, visit medtech.africa, sign in, and go to the Wallet tab in your dashboard.
  • 2. Add your bank details Fill in your bank details, full address, and date of birth exactly as they appear on a recent bank statement. If any of the details are incorrect, your transfer may be delayed.
  • 3. Can't find your bank account information? You can find your bank details on your bank statement. If you have additional questions, you can contact your bank.

    How long does it take to access my money? If you're loading earnings to your debit card, in most instances you’ll receive your cash right away. If you're transferring earnings to a bank account, processing times can vary depending on your bank. Some banks may take a few days to make your funds available. Why am I being charged a service fee? Medtech Africa charges a service fee for virtual consultations made through the app to help fund our platform's operations and maintenance services.

    Cancellations

    In most instances, you’ll receive a cancellation fee if a patient cancels a request.
